Q: What is the relationship between the General Council of the Assemblies of God and the AG Loan Fund?

A: AG Loan Fund was organized by The General Council on November 29, 1994, under the Missouri Nonprofit Corporation Act. AGLF is the incorporated continuation of the Church Loan Department of The General Council, which was transferred to us by means of a transfer agreement. According to the transfer agreement, The General Council assigned to us certain real property, notes receivable, investments, agreements, and other assets of The General Council in consideration for our assumption of certain debts and liabilities of The General Council. As a corporation, AGLF maintains independent books and records and have annual audited financial statements.
