“Church” in the FAQs above can also mean a district council, church school (elementary and high schools) or a QCCO. 403(b) rules and regulations governing these institutions are equivalent to those governing churches.
“Church plan” means a plan sponsored by a church or any 501(c)(3) organization that is controlled by or associated with a church including NQCCO's. If you qualify to use MBA’s plan, you are in a church plan.
“Church school” in the FAQs above refers to elementary and high schools. Institutions of higher learning may be a QCCO or NQCCO depending on circumstances.
“Ministry” includes churches or any other ministry that is able to participate in the MBA plan.
“Service provider” and “vendor” are used interchangeably to refer to providers that are used or have been used for 403(b) accounts to employees.
