Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing will oversee the AGFinancial marketing efforts. They will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning, and coordinating marketing efforts, and communicating the marketing plans. This position will take on the responsibility of building awareness and positioning for the AGFinancial brand and its affiliates. The Director of Marketing must have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, an MBA is beneficial. The candidate must be proficient in research and statistical analysis, have excellent communication skills, and basic proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the marketing/advertising field with applicable managerial experience is preferred.

This position will report directly to the Executive Vice President-CLO.

Account Executive - AGFinancial Insurance

The Account Executive is responsible for targeting new business, growing existing client relationships, and quoting and binding new and renewal business. They will handle customer inquiries regarding the Property/Casualty Insurance program, which includes new and renewal business and endorsements, processing Certificates of Insurance and Evidence of property forms, billing, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and handling routine correspondence. This position will assist the Group Life Benefits Manager and Producers with daily tasks and new business for Group and Individual Life. The Account Executive will need to become proficient in the AMS360 Agency Management System, as well as other systems as needed. They must be a Licensed Property Casualty and Life Insurance Agent and have intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows. HS Diploma or GED required.

This position reports to the Senior Underwriter/Office Manager.

Help Desk Technician I

This position is responsible for responding to assigned Help Desk tickets in supporting company PC’s, applications, and peripheral hardware. The Help Desk Technician will respond to assigned tickets by resolving desktop hardware/software problems via phone support, email, remote control, and “on-site” service and documenting the issue and resolution in the Help Desk ticket. They will coordinate with other IT specialists to resolve problems when necessary. Training or experience in supporting PCs and their peripherals in a Windows networked environment is preferred. Some college-level coursework in Information Technology is desirable. Experience at a Computer Help Desk is desired, preferably 2+ years. Other certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSA, and CCNA are beneficial. Obtaining A+ certification is required within the first 90 days.

This position reports to and works directly with the IT Manager.

Programmer

The Programmer will develop and support custom PHP web-based applications and backend components that enhance AGFinancial’s organizational efficiency. The Programmer must be able to write database queries, understand relational database design and maintain a high security awareness at all times. This position requires knowledge of PHP, MySQL/SQL, HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Good organizational, project management, teamwork, troubleshooting and attention to detail skills are needed. A strong candidate for this position is willing to learn, takes pride in their work, is willing to go the extra mile to ensure stakeholder expectations are met, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technology field, has working or educational experience programming PHP applications or websites, knows how to implement good user interface techniques, and understands CRUD database operations.

This position reports to the IS Manager.
